Instructions
- Preheat your grill to 275°F and setup for indirect cooking. Start the burners on one side of the grill and use the other side for cooking.
- Preheat your grill to 275°F and set it up for indirect or dual-zone cooking. Add 2–3 chunks of wood to the charcoal for additional smoke flavor.
- Preheat your smoker to 275°F.
- Remove the turkey breast from the packaging, pat it dry and remove the skin.
- Season the turkey breast with the BBQ and Steak seasonings and let it rest for 15-20 minutes at room temperature.
- Place the turkey breast on the indirect heat side of the grill and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 120°–130°F, approximately 1 ½–2 hours.
- Remove the turkey from the grill and place it meat side down on 2 pieces of aluminum foil. Add 4 pieces of butter under the turkey and 4 on top.
- Wrap the turkey breast tightly and place it back on the grill, meat side down, and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F. Remove it from the grill and allow it to rest, wrapped, for 15–20 minutes.
- In a separate saucepan, combine all the Cajun honey butter sauce ingredients, bring to a low simmer, and cook for a minute or two.
- Slice the turkey breast and serve with the Cajun honey butter sauce.
